This isn't a promise about the future — it's what's already running. AI Watch and Clipboard Guard ship in V1, backed by detection that's 100% local: a known-bad hash database, YARA rules, file heuristics, and Windows Authenticode signature checks all run on your machine, with an offline threat-intelligence feed on top. Nothing about a scanned file — or anything else — leaves your PC to make any of this work.
This replaced an earlier VirusTotal integration entirely, and detection didn't get weaker for it — V1 catches real-world clipboard and process threats without uploading a file, or anything else, to us or anyone else.
The next investment is entirely on the detection side: expanding the threat-intelligence sources Nocturn checks against, and building toward a bespoke, in-house detection library rather than leaning indefinitely on third-party feeds. The goal is fewer false positives and faster recognition of genuinely new threats. We're building this properly rather than boxing ourselves into one architecture for the sake of a tagline — whatever gets you the strongest protection, including options we add down the line, ships with full transparency about what it does and doesn't do.
NumDash — Swordwright's numpad-navigated desktop launcher — is our second product, currently in development. Once it's further along, the plan is to bring Nocturn into it directly: quick access to AI Watch's status without opening a separate window, and the two products feeling like one coherent ecosystem instead of two unrelated apps that happen to share a publisher.
The Founding Member allocation at £29 is finite by design. Once it's gone, pricing moves on: a new one-time lifetime key opens at a higher price, alongside monthly and yearly subscription options for anyone who'd rather pay as they go. This funds the detection work above — it isn't free to keep building.
This never touches what you already bought. If you're a Founding Member, you keep your £29 lifetime licence on the V1 line, full stop — never moved onto a subscription, never asked to pay again for updates you already own. Every stage on this roadmap ships to Founding Members at no extra cost, for life. New pricing only ever applies to new customers arriving after the Founding tier closes.
